August 1st is famously known as the horses birthday, which of course as we are the Nags Head Hotel makes this our birthday!

In 1874 Reay Edwards bought this block of land for eight pounds… It was 146 years ago that this block of land was completed as a hotel and was officially declared a licensed venue under Tooheys Ltd.
